Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Business Development Associate to support the growth of our chemical distribution business. This role is ideal for someone with strong planning skills, a keen interest in B2B sales, and the ability to create compelling presentations and marketing content.
As part of our team, you will help identify new markets, engage with prospective clients, and contribute to strategic business planning—while supporting the company’s image through visually impactful communication materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the chemical distribution sector
- Conduct market research and analysis to support strategic planning
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners
- Prepare high-quality presentations, proposals, and marketing materials using design tools and software
- Support internal and external communication related to product offerings and company services
- Coordinate with sales and technical teams to ensure client needs are understood and met
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory updates relevant to chemical products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or science related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or industrial distribution (preferably in the chemical industry)
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical thinking skills
- Proficiency in using computer software for creating presentations and media (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Chinese is a plus and will be given special consideration
