Responsibilities

BASIC FUNCTION of POSITION: Works under the guidance of the Administrative Assistant, to provide administrative support to the department of Veterinary Medicine.
Key responsibilities include:
• Plan, organize, and coordinate administrative, procurement, and logistical activities.
• Provide personnel and communication support within the department.
• Ensure smooth coordination with internal staff and external partners at all levels.
• Manage procurement process, liaise with vendors, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Contribute to the efficient operations of the department by handling multiple tasks with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving

Qualifications

1. EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Social Science, Arts or related discipline is required.
2. EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in business management and administrative work, including procurement processes.
• Experience purchasing scientific or medical supplies from domestic and international vendors is highly desirable.
3. LANGUAGE:
• Proficiency in English (Level III-Good working knowledge for speaking, reading, writing English) is required.
• • A TOEIC of at least 600  (or equivalent) is required.
4. SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in commonly used office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to draft and format correspondence accurately.
• Familiarity with standard office equipment (telephone, photocopier, scanner, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining effective communication at all levels.
