Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance to management and staff on regulatory requirements. The Compliance Manager acts as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and ensures that the company maintains ethical and legal standards in all operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies, procedures, and programs.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues, reporting findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure business practices align with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.
- Maintain records of compliance activities and ensure proper documentation.
- Act as liaison with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification preferred).
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
- Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to develop and implement compliance programs effectively.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Integrity, ethical mindset, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs.
- Experience in the industry relevant to the organization (e.g., banking, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing)
