Chemical Analysis Sr. Engineer - Magnecomp Precision Technology Public Company Limited

JOB SUMMARY:

• Oversee technical operations within the Material Science Laboratory, focusing on Cleanliness testing, Chemical analysis, and material properties characterization. Drive project development in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Quality. Ensure compliance with Product Environmental Management Standard and TDK HQ system requirements. Mentor junior engineer and continuous improvement in laboratory capabilities and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for all laboratory activities related to material analysis, cleanliness testing, and equipment optimization.
• Lead set up, calibration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of advanced analytical equipment (FTIR, IC, LPC, GC/MS, UV-visible spectrophotometer, SEM/EDX, Humidity chamber, and Grinder & Polisher).
• Coordinate and manage correlation with the customer and supplier laboratories (semi-annually or annually) to ensure data consistency and reliability.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for root cause investigations and failure analysis.
• Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, ensuring skill development and adherence to best practices.
• Liaise with external laboratories (local and overseas) for specialized analysis requirements not available in-house.
• Manage and ensure compliance with Product Environmental Management Standards and TDK HQ requirements.
• Support cross-functional projects by providing material science expertise in product development, process improvement, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science field.

Skill Required:                   

• Fluency in speaking and writing English.
• Knowledge of material science, chemical field.

Experience:

• 3 - 6 Years.
