Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
- To ensure the Quality of Incoming Tooling’s and Spares as per priorities received.
- Plan tooling jobs for Buy-off technician to perform Inspection and other Buyoff related activities for all Tooling used for manufacturing to ensures all tooling buy-off Plans are executed smoothly.
- design commitments and requirements meet or exceed department objectives and executed smoothly. Responsible for accurate and optimal designs of Tooling / Metrology/ Handling fixtures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Allocate the Jobs to team as per plan. Train and guide the team to accomplish the given jobs & upgrade their skills in tooling inspection.
- Ensure Buyoff documents and updated and maintained regularly.
- Strive for attaining ZERO RETURN from the end-user for the Jobs passed through buy-off.
- Ensure all machines and equipments are Serviced and Calibrated on schedule.
- Proper and Timely feed back to immediate superior for any functional difficulties.
- Work in close relation with collogues in the section and other related departments.
- Publish weekly reports which are related to tooling Buy-off to the management.
- Initiate and follow up corrective actions on Quality Issue feedback received from user.
- Improve House Keeping and Discipline in working area. Practice safe Working Methods and handling of Tooling and Equipment. (Lean and 5S Activities)
- Have regular meetings with Tooling technician to get feedback on high priority spares & follow-up with Procurement to pull in the ETA of those spares.
- Perform other duties and assume accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
Qualifications
Education Required:
- Bachelor degree in related Engineering field.
Skill Required:
- Effective Management and Communication Skill.
- Computer literate and able to read and write English.
- Good human relationship and flexibility to work in a team to achieve Company Goals.
Experience:
- 3-4 years minimum.
