Responsibilities

• Provide the function of Quantity Surveyor for projects in various industries including hospitality, education, commercial and fitness industries.

• Complete material take off based on design drawings and specifications

• Development of project estimates, budgets and design phase costs plans

• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ)

• Prepare documentation for tendering of project works

• Support value engineering recommendations and associated cost study exercises

• Oversee and manage procurement process through precontract, negotiations to award

• Complete financial reporting

• Work as part of a team and lead QS tasks

• Attend and lead site inspections, meetings and similar with respect to project works

• Ability to present cost related items to Client/Stakeholder teams in English language

• Facilitate meetings with contractors to resolve cost related issues, claims and similar

• Measure quantities of material used and work performed/progress on site

• Deliver projects and general Quantity Surveying tasks as part of project delivery

• Work with local and international project teams and clients

• Support the preparation of Construction Contracts

• Preparation of monthly financial statements, cashflows and associated reports

• Support preparation and development of standard documentation to be used on projects for Quantity Surveying and Cost Management Tasks

• Work on Projects based in Thailand and Internationally

• Work with internal Project and Construction Management teams

• Other tasks following management assignment or company policy

• Report to Principal/Lead Quantity Surveyor

• Thai nationality only

• Seeking male or female with age of 35 – 45 years old

• Candidates must have a good level of English communications (spoken, reading, written), ideally attended an international school or university.

• Candidates must be able to travel to meet project requirements

• Qualifications in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

• Good understanding and ability using standard Microsoft products (word, excel, powerpoint etc.)

• Good attitude, self-motivated, dynamic, hardworking and able to work under pressure

• Ability to work as part of the team on a variety of tasks

• Must have good experience and knowledge in the construction field (Hotels, Schools, Retail, Commercial)

• International membership/accrediation seen as beneficial (RICS or similar)
