Responsibilities


  • Provide technical support for electrical systems and installations within the project’s functional area, assisting the team as required by the project structure.
  • Review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, as-built documents, operation manuals, and other project documentation.
  • Conduct inspections based on site-specific requirements as directed by the line manager or in line with the QA/QC process for the project.
  • Monitor compliance of electrical work with approved drawings and specifications, advising line managers on discrepancies and recording any instances of non-compliance.
  • Support Health & Safety requirements, reporting any infringements to the line manager and ensuring all electrical systems meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of electrical commissioning procedures, ensuring that all systems are operationally sound.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a construction/site environment with a focus on electrical systems and installations.
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Computer literacy, including significant experience with Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Navisworks or any BIM software is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to compile comprehensive reports.
  • Effective team player who can adapt to dynamic project needs.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good in English.
