Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for electrical systems and installations within the project’s functional area, assisting the team as required by the project structure.
- Review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, as-built documents, operation manuals, and other project documentation.
- Conduct inspections based on site-specific requirements as directed by the line manager or in line with the QA/QC process for the project.
- Monitor compliance of electrical work with approved drawings and specifications, advising line managers on discrepancies and recording any instances of non-compliance.
- Support Health & Safety requirements, reporting any infringements to the line manager and ensuring all electrical systems meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of electrical commissioning procedures, ensuring that all systems are operationally sound.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a construction/site environment with a focus on electrical systems and installations.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Computer literacy, including significant experience with Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Navisworks or any BIM software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to compile comprehensive reports.
- Effective team player who can adapt to dynamic project needs.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good in English.
