Civil & Structure Design Manager - Archetype Construction Consultants (Thailand) Limited

We are looking for an experienced Civil & Structural Engineering Manager to lead the Civil & Structural Engineering team and oversee design activities across multiple projects.

The role will be responsible for managing technical deliverables, ensuring design quality and compliance with applicable codes and standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and developing engineers within the team.

• Lead and manage the Civil & Structural Engineering team, including Engineers and Drafters.
• Oversee Civil & Structural design activities from concept development through detailed design and project delivery.
• Manage and review structural analysis, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure all design deliverables meet project requirements, quality standards, applicable building codes, and client expectations.
• Review and approve technical documents and drawings prior to submission.
• Lead technical coordination with Architects, MEP Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, and Clients.
• Identify and resolve complex technical and design issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and provide technical guidance on Shop Drawings, Material Submissions, and construction-related technical matters.
• Conduct and oversee site inspections to ensure construction activities comply with approved designs and quality requirements.
• Monitor project deliverables, resources, priorities, and deadlines to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Engineers and Drafters.
• Support the implementation and improvement of engineering standards, procedures, and quality assurance processes.
• Participate in client meetings and provide professional technical advice when required.
• Support the development of new business opportunities and contribute to technical proposals and project tenders when required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Structural Engineering License – Level II or higher.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Strong experience in Structural Design and Engineering Consulting.
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, MIDAS, or PLAXIS.
• Experience with Revit / BIM Modeling and Coordination.
• Good knowledge of Local and International Building Codes and Standards.
• Strong project coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
