Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly commercial performance reports for management.
- Analyze sales and gross margin performance across categories, brands, channels, and suppliers, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Review New Product Development (NPD) and ongoing product performance to support commercial decisions.
- Support supplier performance reviews, including analysis of margins, funding, and trade terms, working closely with Heads of Commercial.
- Prepare sales and gross margin budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against plan and supporting financial planning processes.
- Perform variance analysis with clear financial commentary, highlighting drivers of performance and recommending actions to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain Excel-based analytical models and reporting tools.
- Develop Power BI dashboards where appropriate to improve visibility and insight.
- Support business cases and scenario modelling for key commercial initiatives, including pricing, promotions, and new launches
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in data analytics, business analysis, or commercial finance within retail, FMCG, or consumer goods.
- Hands-on experience working with sales, category, or commercial teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to build complex reports and analysis.
- Advanced Power BI experience is required, including strong DAX knowledge, data modelling, and dashboard development
- Practical commercial mindset with an understanding of retail performance drivers.
- Able to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in Thai and English.
