Purchase Officer - Lite-On Electronics (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.

Job Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, electronic components, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) items, and services in accordance with company requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers, request quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing solutions.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Finance, and other related departments to support operational requirements.
• Verify purchasing documents and maintain accurate procurement records in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain and update purchasing data, supplier information, and procurement reports in SAP and related systems.
• Support inventory planning and material availability to prevent shortages and production disruptions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supplier development.
• Perform other purchasing-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related functions.
• Knowledge of raw materials, electronic components, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) items.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis functions.
• Familiar with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent document control, data verification, and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn new systems, technologies, and work processes.
• High sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments and suppliers.
