About the role

Senior Operations Engineer responsible for monitoring, controlling, and operating plant systems and equipment to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant operation in compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related technical field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in power plants, Waste-to-Energy plants, heavy industrial plants, or process industries

• Ability to work “Shift rotation”

• English proficiency at a level sufficient to understand technical documents, operating procedures, and participate in work-related discussions.

• Ability to perform in roles with increasing operational responsibility up to Shift Supervisor level

• Exposure to or experience in shift leadership responsibilities (acting Shift Lead / Senior Operator / control room coordination) is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of boilers, steam turbines, generators, pumps, valves, instrumentation & control systems, utilities, and overall plant operations

• Ability to support troubleshooting and contribute to operational decision-making during normal and abnormal plant conditions

• Understanding of plant safety systems, permit-to-work systems, and standard operating procedures (SOP)
