Safety Officer - Furukawa FITEL (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

• Provide orientation, training and guidance on safety laws and regulations to ensure safe work practices and compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Develop safety plans, organize safety committee meetings, inspect and monitor the correction of unsafe working conditions and conduct various safety-related activities to promote accident prevention and reduction in the workplace.
• Analyze tasks and assess risks to identify hazards and establish preventive measures or safe work procedures to prevent accidents.
• Conduct workplace environmental measures and building inspections as required by law to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor and review newly issued safety laws, update the legal register accordingly, and assess legal compliance to the company fully meets all statutory requirements.
• Arrange for employees to undergo health examinations based on risk factors as required by law to ensure their well-being.
• Inspect and maintain fire prevention and suppression equipment, such as fire extinguishers and fire alarm systems, to ensure they are always in proper working condition.
• Oversee the management of chemicals and hazardous materials to ensure their safe use and storage.
• Provide personal protective equipment (PPE), along with guidance and supervision on its proper use by employees, to ensure their safety and health.
• Investigate and analyze the causes of workplace accidents, implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence, and report accident incidents to management to keep them informed of the company's safety situation.
• Conduct basic fire-fighting training and organize firefighting and evacuation drills in compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide training for employees on occupational and environmental diseases in compliance with legal requirements.
• Safety officer

• Male or Female, age not over 30 years old.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational Safety, Health, and Environment or equivalent. 
• Certificate of completion of professional-level Safety Officer training as required by law, in case of a non-related field of study.
• Certificate of registration for personnel responsible for the safety of hazardous materials storage, as required by the Department of Industrial Works.
• Certificate of Registration as a Radiation Safety Officer (จป.รังสี), Bor Chor (บฉ.)
• At least 1-3 years of experience as a professional-level Safety Officer in an Japanese industrial facility.
• Knowledge of Safety Laws.
• Knowledge of Safety management system requirements.
• Ability to write, read, and speak English.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
• Proficient in computer use (MS office, Canva)
• Experience in Basic programing (Excel macro, Visual Basic) will be given special consideration.
