Responsibilities
- Search and check the details for new vendors from both domestic and international.
- Compare prices and negotiate with vendors/supplier.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to purchase parts for production.
- Collect and check the accuracy and completeness of the details and information in the purchase order and quotation before proceeding.
- Review contracts/agreements with manufacturers, vendors or sales representatives before for getting approval.
- Control purchases by checking prices, quantities, and delivery dates to ensure alignment with the production plan.
- Check the tax benefits when raw materials and related products are purchased and imported from abroad.
- Meeting with the production department to follow up on the operations of manufacturers and vendors and product delivery.
- Participate in company activities such as Q6S, energy conservation, ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, Engineering or any related fields.
- At least 1 year experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, engineering, or parts/production control.
- Good teamwork skills and able to work under pressure with limit time schedule.
- SAP or other ERP experience is a plus and Japanese language skills will be an advantage.
