Mechanical Engineer - Universal Process Chemicals and Equipment Services Co., Ltd.

·  Develop mechanical design criteria, equipment layouts, piping arrangements, calculations, datasheets, specifications, BOQ/MTO, and technical requisitions.

·  Size and select pumps, blowers, tanks, vessels, mixers, filters, skids, piping, valves, supports, platforms, ventilation, and related mechanical equipment with Process and E&I teams.

·  Prepare and review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, piping isometrics, support details, equipment schedules, and interfaces with civil/structural works.

·  Select appropriate materials for water, wastewater, chemicals, corrosion, temperature, pressure, UV exposure, and site conditions.

·  Review vendor quotations and drawings, complete technical bid evaluations, clarify deviations, and support procurement with cost and delivery decisions.

·  Coordinate workshop fabrication and site installation; inspect materials, dimensions, welding/joining, alignment, coating, workmanship, and testing against approved documents.

·  Plan work packages, resources, permits, tools, lifting, access, and interfaces using daily coordination and a rolling lookahead schedule.

·  Support hydrotests, leak tests, flushing, rotation/alignment checks, equipment start-up, performance testing, punch-list closure, and customer training.

·  Manage technical changes, RFIs, NCRs, redlines, as-built drawings, O&M information, and mechanical turnover dossiers.

·  Apply safe-design principles and comply with project HSE, quality, environmental, and customer requirements at all times.

·  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

·  At least 1-5 years in mechanical design, project engineering, fabrication, installation, or commissioning for water treatment, process plants, utilities, chemicals, or industrial construction.

·  Practical knowledge of pumps, piping, tanks/skids, mechanical equipment, material selection, fabrication, and site installation.

·  Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering calculations; 3D CAD/plant-layout tools and strong Excel skills are advantages.

·  Working familiarity with applicable engineering standards and good practices such as ASME, API, ISO, AWWA, manufacturer requirements, and customer specifications.

·  Able to communicate in Thai and use working English for drawings, datasheets, manuals, vendor communication, and reports.

·  Valid driving license and willingness to travel, work at industrial sites, and support critical installation/commissioning activities.

Location:

Based in Rayong and willing to travel in Thailand and rest of the region if required.
