Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for die casting process improvement, including process parameter control and optimization to enhance productivity and quality.
• Manage all aspects of die progression, including die design, modification, repair, and maintenance processes.
• Lead defect analysis and problem-solving activities using established methodologies.
• Provide training and technical guidance to subordinates to improve die casting processes and capabilities.
• Supervise, control, and develop the die casting engineer section, including performance management.
• Coordinate production plans and schedules with Japanese management to ensure alignment.
• Responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures related to assembly, testing, and manufacturing processes of automotive parts.
• Lead and implement cost reduction initiatives, including productivity improvements.
• Manage die-related technical specifications, including cooling system design and thermal balance analysis.
• Implement and maintain quality and management systems (e.g., IATF16949, ISO) and related tools (e.g., FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA).
• Drive and oversee continuous improvement activities such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and PDCA cycles.
Qualifications
Necessary Skill / Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management or related fields
• Minimum 8 years of experience as Production Control or Process Engineer in Manufacturing industry.
• At least 3 years management as Assistant Manager level.
• Must have experience in Die-cast process.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Conversation low - middle level of English (Interview in English & meeting with management team (Japanese)
• Japanese language skills will be an advantage

Working Hour: 8:00-17:00 (Mon - Fri (Depends on company calendar / Average 1 sat per month))
