Manufacturing Engineer (Process Engineer) - Isuzu Global CV Engineering Center Co.,Ltd

1. Vehicle Assembly & Prototype Preparation:

• Support vehicle assembly activities at trial and prototype production sites.
• Coordinate and assist with trial production activities to ensure smooth operations.

2. Trial Site Management:

• Support trial site preparation, coordination, and management.
• Monitor trial activity reports and follow up on production-related issues.

3. Production Process Improvement (Kaizen):

• Participate in Kaizen activities to improve manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in mass production lines.

4. Production Process Planning:

• Study and review production process plans and manufacturing methods.
• Support the development and improvement of production processes.

5. Productivity & Quality Evaluation:

• Evaluate production efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and quality improvement.

6. Product Preparation for KD Countries:

• Support product preparation activities for Knocked Down (KD) production in overseas countries.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure production readiness.

7. Tooling & Equipment Preparation:

• Support the preparation of tooling and equipment using 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Assist in reviewing tooling and equipment requirements for production activities.

3. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

4. Professional Experience: New graduates are welcome. Candidates with 0–1 year of experience in Production Engineering, Process Engineering, or Automotive Manufacturing will be considered.

5. Language Skills: Good command of English (speaking, listening, and reading) is required. Japanese language skills are an advantage.

6. Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot) is an advantage.

7. Strong Quality Mindset and Accountability: A strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards, with attention to detail, a sense of ownership, and personal accountability for work quality and results.

8. Communication and Reporting Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effective cross-functional teams, clearly explain technical issues, and prepare accurate, well-structured reports.

9. Ability to Work Under Pressure and Meet Tight Deadlines: Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines without compromising safety or quality.

10. Other Skills: Willingness to work at assembly plants and production sites, including hands-on activities. A genuine passion for automobiles and an interest in automotive manufacturing, production processes, and continuous improvement. No prior work experience is required.
