Responsibilities

Lead and oversee engineering design for Solar Rooftop and electrical systems across all projects.
Review and approve PV layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical drawings, engineering calculations, and technical documentation.
Establish and maintain engineering design standards in compliance with PEA/MEA, IEC, NEC, and applicable regulations.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Design, Project, and Service Engineers.
Resolve complex engineering design challenges and provide technical guidance throughout project execution.
Collaborate with Sales, Project, and Procurement teams to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering design quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Qualifications

Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Electrical and Solar PV System Design, including engineering drawings, electrical calculations, and technical design.
3. Valid Professional Engineering License (PE License) is required.
4. Strong expertise in Solar PV system design and engineering standards.
5. Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst, ETAP, SketchUp, and other relevant engineering software.
6. Strong understanding of PEA/MEA regulations, IEC, NEC standards, and applicable electrical codes.
7. Excellent leadership, technical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and coordination skills with clients, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
