Accounting Receivable Officer - MOTIF Group

1. Sales & Accounts Receivable Management

• Prepare Daily Sales Reports and specialized sales summaries (e.g., Siam Paragon department store sales).
• Issue official receipts and tax invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate, prepare, and deliver invoices and billing statements to customers, and follow up on cheque collections.

2. Cash Receipts, Banking & Fee Verification

• Record other miscellaneous cash inflows and verify bank transfer transactions.
• Monitor, record, and reconcile transaction fees arising from EDC machines and Payment Gateways.
• Prepare documentation and perform journal entries for inter-account bank transfers.
• Record bank interest income and Withholding Tax (WHT) entries.
• Facilitate foreign bank transfers and maintain control logs for Promissory Notes.

3. Tax Compliance & Commission Reporting

• Perform Output VAT reconciliation and prepare necessary reports for tax submission.
• Calculate and generate monthly Sales Commission reports for the sales team.

4. Voucher & Promotional Inventory Control

• Handle billing, documentation, and payment collection for Gift Vouchers.
• Track and generate usage reports for Gift Vouchers utilized by the Sales department.
• Record and write off inventory for corporate gifts and promotional samples used by the Sales and PR teams.

5. Inventory Audit & Ad-hoc Support

• Participate in periodic physical stock counts at designated warehouses or retail locations.
• Assist the Accounts Payable (AP) function by preparing supporting documentation for consignment billing.
• Support administrative financial requests, including bank account openings, EDC machine applications, and coordinating promotional setups with banks and Payment Gateways.

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

2. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) or General Accounting.

• Experience in Retail, Consignment businesses, or companies utilizing multi-channel payment gateways is highly advantageous.

3. Technical Knowledge: * Strong foundation in Thai tax regulations, specifically Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax (WHT).

• Good understanding of basic inventory accounting and Bank Reconciliation processes.

4. Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting ERP software and strong Microsoft Excel skills (ability to use formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables for report generation is a must).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams (Sales, PR), external clients, and financial institutions.
• Resilient and capable of working efficiently under tight monthly closing deadlines.
