SQE Supervisor (Supplier Quality Engineering) - Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) PCL

• Manage and enhance supplier quality performance for electronic components and materials.
• Investigate supplier quality issues, driving effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review supplier 8D reports and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementation.
• Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
• Monitor key supplier quality performance indicators (KPIs), including PPM, defect rates, and corrective action closure rates.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Incoming Quality Control (IQC) teams, as well as suppliers, to resolve quality issues.
• Support new supplier qualification and approval processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supplier quality and reliability.
• Participate in supplier performance reviews and escalation meetings.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a preference for Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with 8+ years in Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SMT, PCBA, electronics manufacturing processes, and IPC standards.
• Proficiency in quality methodologies including 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, 7 QC Tools, RCA, and CAPA.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, QMS audits, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Experience in supplier audits, quality improvement initiatives, and incoming electronic material quality control.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or shopfloor systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good command of English, including professional quality reporting.
