Responsibilities
1. Engineering & Cost Estimation
- Drawing Analysis: Analyze and interpret engineering drawings to establish baseline data for accurate cost estimation.
- Costing & Pricing: Calculate and prepare cost structures based on a thorough understanding of mold making and plastic injection molding processes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the Engineering, R&D, and Production departments to evaluate project feasibility and develop competitive cost-control strategies.
- Quotation Preparation: Generate accurate, comprehensive, and competitive quotations tailored to customer requirements.
2. Sales & Marketing Management
- Technical Presentation: Professionally present technical product specifications and the company's manufacturing capabilities to clients.
- Negotiation & Relationship Management: Negotiate pricing and commercial terms, maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and actively identify opportunities to acquire new customers.
- Project Tracking: Monitor the progress of New Project Development (NPD) from the initial inquiry, quoting, and sampling stages through to final approval for Mass Production.
- Compliance: Ensure that all customer requirements and project developments align with internal quality and sustainability standards (such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and EcoVadis).
3. Communication & Coordination
- International Communication: Correspond, negotiate, and communicate effectively in business English with international clients and partners via email and meetings.
- Internal Liaison: Act as the central technical liaison, seamlessly translating customer requirements into actionable information for internal teams.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive sales summaries, cost analysis reports, and market trend updates for executive management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
- Core Technical Knowledge: * Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- In-depth understanding of mold making and plastic injection molding processes.
- Strong analytical skills for cost calculation and pricing strategies.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with a verified TOEIC score of 450 or higher.
- Computer Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for complex calculations, data management, and reporting.
- Other Attributes: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, highly responsible, proactive, and possesses a professional demeanor suitable for representing the company to key accounts.
