Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly Master Production Schedules (MPS) to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate production capacity, including machinery and manpower, to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Monitor and control actual production progress against the plan to ensure on-time delivery and minimize delays.
- Manage inventory levels of Work-in-Process (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG) to maintain a balance between supply and demand.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing department to ensure the timely arrival of raw materials based on the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles to eliminate waste and improve overall production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, specifically IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and perform Root Cause Analysis for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Warehouse, to maintain a smooth manufacturing flow.
- Prepare and present comprehensive production reports and performance summaries to the management team.
Qualifications
Qualification
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 1–3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Quality Standards Knowledge: Solid understanding of automotive quality management systems, specifically IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formulas) and experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- Operational Excellence: Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analytical & Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional coordination.
