Planning Engineer - Supavut Industry Co., Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly Master Production Schedules (MPS) to meet customer delivery requirements.
2. Analyze and evaluate production capacity, including machinery and manpower, to ensure optimal resource utilization.
3. Monitor and control actual production progress against the plan to ensure on-time delivery and minimize delays.
4. Manage inventory levels of Work-in-Process (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG) to maintain a balance between supply and demand.
5. Coordinate with the Purchasing department to ensure the timely arrival of raw materials based on the Bill of Materials (BOM).
6. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles to eliminate waste and improve overall production efficiency.
7. Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, specifically IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
8. Analyze production data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and perform Root Cause Analysis for continuous improvement.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Warehouse, to maintain a smooth manufacturing flow.
10. Prepare and present comprehensive production reports and performance summaries to the management team.

Qualification

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
2. Professional Experience: 1–3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry.
3. Quality Standards Knowledge: Solid understanding of automotive quality management systems, specifically IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
4. Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formulas) and experience using ERP/MRP systems.
5. Operational Excellence: Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
6. Analytical & Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional coordination.
