Senior Engineer - Metrology Lab (R&D Center) - Supavut Industry Co., Ltd.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Measurement & Layout Planning: Establish and control master schedules for layout measurements to align with customer requirements and standards.
• Technical Guidance & Analysis: Review and analyze critical measurement results, provide technical advice on dimensional control and GD&T, and act as a technical decision-maker for measurement discrepancies.
• Gauge & Equipment Management: Plan and control calibration systems for all gauges, checking fixtures, and measuring instruments; analyze risks and contingency plans for equipment failure.
• MSA & Testing Control: Establish MSA plans, analyze trends, ensure testing report accuracy, and manage compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and coach engineers and staff, manage training matrices, plan skill development (Measurement, Calibration, GD&T), and lead audit corrective actions.
• General Duties: Implement 5S, Kaizen, and safety standards, support continuous improvement activities, and act as a technical representative for customers and certification bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry, specializing in measurement, testing, or product quality inspection.
• Specialized Skills & Certificates: Training certificates in ISO/IEC 17025 Testing and/or CMM Arm + PolyWorks are highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong command of drawing reading, GD&T, inspection tools, and design software (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, VISI).
• Competencies: Good analytical, technical decision-making, team leadership, and English communication skills.
