Responsibilities
- Verify specifications and quality of goods, materials, and spare parts from requesters against user requirements.
- Source required parts and services from local and international suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and quality.
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead time, cost, and quality to secure optimal benefits for the company.
- Analyze price comparisons, evaluate reasonable price adjustments, facilitate supplier selection, and manage procurement risks.
- Evaluate and analyze potential impacts, related situations, technological changes, supply capabilities, and any constraints affecting procurement.
- Issue purchase orders accurately and promptly.
- Ensure on-time deliveries of final products.
- Manage claims for part defects or failures.
- Conduct supplier evaluations in accordance with ISO procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Section Head.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with machinery and spare parts procurement is a plus.
- Knowledge of Import/Export processes is a plus.
