Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Plan and ensure that the operations of the accounting and finance department comply with all relevant laws and regulations related to taxation, finance, and accounting.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for top management.
- Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts, accounting policies, and related procedures.
- Strategically plan and manage internal controls in compliance with J-SOX requirements in an efficient and timely manner.
- Liaise with external auditors and relevant government agencies on matters related to taxation, finance, and accounting.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Age 35 - 45 years old
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in working with international accounting standards and local tax regulations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing monthly financial and accounting reports
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Good command of English Advantage if has Japanese
- Good computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
