Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage parts preparation for new projects to ensure on-time new model launch according to company schedule.
  • Coordinate with local suppliers on cost, process, quality, and supply conditions to support mass production readiness.
  • Analyze and develop local supplier sourcing strategies by category to secure long-term supply capability.
  • Review cost breakdowns, negotiate reasonable purchase prices, and drive cost reduction initiatives in line with company targets.
  • Conduct annual supplier evaluations and utilize results for supplier selection in new projects.
  • Improve procurement processes by implementing new methods, tools, or systems to shorten lead time and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on progress, issues, and improvement plans to management.
  • Act as team leader in coordination with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Support people development by mentoring and coaching team members together with the manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier development (new project experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of cost analysis, supplier sourcing, and negotiation.
  • Experience working with local suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take leadership responsibility, and support team development.
  • Good command of English communication is required.
