Purchasing Officer - Grand Chemical Far East Ltd.

• Issue Purchase Orders (PO), track deliveries, and ensure on-time delivery, and verifying all transactions.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and quality standards to optimize costs.

• Work pro-actively, on a daily basis, with the planner, manager and other departments to ensure schedules are maintained and material is readily available.

• Ensure continuous supply of required materials and communicate any supply problems with solution.

• Maintain and update daily inventory reconciliation and reporting.

• Prepare, and verify purchasing reports, invoices, inventory, and related documents, and keep documentation audit-ready at all times.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish long-term relationships and ensure quality and reliability of materials and services.

• Maintain transparency and align with company policies.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers/vendors.

• Follow and enforce any and all additional duties or responsibilities assigned.

• 3-5 years of procurement experience

• Strong skills in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management

• Good command in MS-Excel, database software, Google Sheets, etc.

• Good command in English (reading and writing)

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure

• Administrative, record-keeping with attention to details

• Open-minded

• Candidates who have a food science/science degree or have experience in purchasing for chemicals, food chemicals/ingredients are preferred.
