Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee compliance with ISO 14001, environmental laws and regulations, and Canon Group environmental standards, while driving continuous environmental improvement and internal communication initiatives.
- Manage and ensure effective monitoring and measurement of the Environmental Management System (EMS), including control of air emissions, wastewater, waste management, chemical handling, and other environmental impacts.
- Supervise and coordinate internal and external audits as well as environmental impact assessments; analyze findings to develop corrective actions, preventive measures, and continuous improvement plans.
- Drive CSR and environmental programs, strengthen communication and public relations with stakeholders, and prepare comprehensive environmental performance reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in environmental management
- Legally certified in Chemical Management, Industrial Waste, Hazardous Waste, Wastewater Treatment, and Air Pollution Control
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and applicable environmental laws and regulations
- Proven experience in Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and pollution control
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience
- Solid auditing, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
