Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Import & Export Operations
Manage import and export shipments with efficiency.
Prepare and review import/export documentation including:
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
Certificate of Origin
Import permits and relevant customs documentation
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouse team.
Track shipment schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor customs clearance processes and resolve shipment issues
2. Freight Forwarder & Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with freight forwarders for sea freight, air freight, and domestic transportation
Request freight quotations and compare shipping costs
Monitor shipment schedules and transit times
Handle shipment booking and delivery arrangements
3. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
Coordinate inbound shipments to warehouse
Monitor inventory levels and stock availability
Coordinate stock transfers and replenishment
Ensure proper documentation for receiving goods
Work closely with warehouse team to resolve discrepancies
4. Order & Delivery Management
Coordinate order fulfillment with warehouse and logistics providers
Ensure timely delivery to customers or distributors
Track delivery schedules and resolve logistics issues.
Communicate shipment status with sales and internal teams
5. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate supply chain documentation and records
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies
Coordinate with finance for shipment cost verification and invoice processing
Maintain shipping records and logistics reports
6. Supply Chain Reporting
Prepare regular reports including:
Shipment Report
Incoming Shipment Reports
Inventory movement reports
Support supply chain analysis and operational improvements
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
- 1–3 years experience in supply chain, logistics, import-export, or freight coordination
- Experience working with freight forwarders or shipping documentation is preferred
Skills
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and logistics operations
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments with deadlines
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics systems
Language
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with freight forwarders or customs brokers
- Knowledge of shipping terms (Incoterms)
- Experience in FMCG / beverage / import business
