Responsibilities
- Lead new product development (NPD) from concept to commercialization
- Research and track global food trends and innovations
- Create innovation roadmap aligned with business strategy
- Develop and optimize product formulations and processes
- Conduct lab-scale and pilot-scale trials; scale-up to industrial production
- Perform sensory evaluations and shelf-life studies
- Establish product and raw material specifications
- Manage and develop R&D Innovation/NPD team
- Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Production, and QA/QC departments
- Manage R&D project budget, timeline, and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with international standards (FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRC, HALAL)
- Prepare technical documentation and customer questionnaires
- Evaluate alternative raw materials and second-source suppliers
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, or related fields
Master's degree preferred
Personal Attributes:
Age 30-40 years
Thai nationality
Passionate about food innovation
Positive attitude and team player
Proactive and result-oriented
Experience:
8-12 years in Food Product Development, Innovation, or R&D
Proven track record in developing products from concept to commercialization
2-3 years minimum in R&D team management
Experience in condiments/sauces/processed food industry highly preferred
Experience with export-oriented food products preferred
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Expertise in product development and formulation
Knowledge of food processing, shelf-life studies, and sensory evaluation
Understanding of food safety standards: FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRC, HALAL, ISO
Analytical skills in chemistry and microbiology
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong leadership and team management skills
Project management and cross-functional collaboration
Proficiency in English (TOEIC 600+ or IELTS 5.5+)
Ability to write technical documents in English
Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical software
