Senior Engineer (Senior Subcontract Engineer) - IBC Industrial Co., Ltd.

Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontracts in line with the main contract requirements, particularly for Oil & Gas / EPC / EPCIC projects.

Coordinate interfaces between various subcontractors and other project disciplines to ensure alignment with project requirements and execution plans.

Verify subcontractors’ progress against the approved schedule and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

Participate in daily/weekly meetings with subcontractors and internal project teams to review progress, outstanding issues, and action plans.

Prepare regular reports on subcontractor performance and highlight potential risks, delays, cost impacts, and required mitigation actions.

Maintain proper records of correspondence, approvals, contractual documents, and change orders related to subcontractors.

Assist in the evaluation and validation of subcontractor progress and milestone payment claims.

Monitor subcontractor scope variations and support the preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of change orders with subcontractors.

Monitor subcontractor performance against agreed schedule, cost, and contractual requirements and report key issues to management.

Update and maintain the Subcontractor Cash Flow Plan.

Work cross-functionally as a Cost Control Engineer, including preparation of the monthly Earned Value Analysis (EVA) report for the entire EPCIC project.

Ensure subcontractor activities comply with project requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable Oil & Gas industry standards and practices.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in Subcontract Engineering, Subcontract Management, Contract Administration, or a related role.

Good understanding of procurement processes and subcontractor management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively within project deadlines.

Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal project teams.

Proficiency in standard computer applications and relevant project management or engineering software.

Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred.

Experience in EPC/EPCIC projects will be considered a strong advantage.
