Responsibilities


1. Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Ensure timely financial closing and reporting for both internal management and external stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure appropriate liquidity to support operations.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis with recommendations.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment between financial planning and operational strategy.
3. Tax & Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with Thai tax laws and filing requirements (e.g., PND.50, PND.51, PP.30, etc.).
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies, including the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC).
• Maintain knowledge of relevant financial regulations and adjust internal policies accordingly.
4. Accounting Operations & Internal Controls
• Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Review and approve payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
5. Team Leadership & Development
• Manage and develop the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance.
• Provide coaching, training, and regular performance evaluations.
• Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a master’s degree or professional accounting qualification is an advantage.

  • At least 7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, taxation, and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Proven experience in financial closing, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and audit coordination.

  • Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to translate financial information into practical business recommendations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.

  • Good command of written and spoken English for communication with regional stakeholders.

  • Experience in a service business, project-based operations, or a company with regional reporting is preferred.

Job Summary

In this Finance & Account Manager role, you will lead and oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with TFRS and/or IFRS. You will be instrumental in leading the annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes, analyzing financial performance against budget, and providing variance analysis with strategic recommendations to support business units. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring full compliance with Thai tax laws and regulatory requirements, coordinating with external auditors and bodies like the OIC, and developing robust internal controls. Furthermore, you will manage, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team to foster high performance and continuous improvement.
