Database Specialist - Klickerlab Co., Ltd.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems across multiple platforms including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and vector databases
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and resource management
• Develop and enforce database standards, procedures, and policies for data management and security
• Monitor database health, perform regular backups, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
• Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database schemas and data models
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in production and development environments
• Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls and encryption
• Perform database capacity planning and scaling to meet growing business needs
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database architectures and procedures
• Conduct performance analysis and recommend improvements to database infrastructure
• Stay current with emerging database technologies and best practices, particularly in vector databases for AI/ML applications

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in database administration and engineering
• Strong expertise in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with vector databases for AI/ML workloads
• Deep understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance requirements
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
