QA/QC Engineer - Sinohydro (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. (SEPCO III)

Position: QA/QC Engineer or  QC Manager
Job Responsibilities
1.Manage, supervise, and control all Quality Control (QC) activities throughout the power plant construction project.
2.Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Control Plan (QCP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection procedures, and quality standards in accordance with project requirements.
3.Lead and manage the QC team, including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and other discipline inspectors and QC personnel.
4.Ensure that all construction, installation, fabrication, and commissioning activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable codes and standards, and project quality requirements.
5.Review and approve inspection and testing procedures, method statements, ITPs, checklists, and other quality-related documents.
6.Coordinate and supervise inspections and testing activities with the Client, Consultant, Contractors, Subcontractors, and relevant third parties.
7.Monitor and control the quality of construction materials, equipment, fabrication, installation, welding, and site activities.
8.Manage the identification, documentation, and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), quality issues, defects, and corrective/preventive actions.
9.Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to identify potential quality risks and ensure compliance with project requirements.
10.Review inspection reports, test results, material certificates, quality records, and other supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
11.Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and ensure that outstanding quality issues are properly closed.
12.Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to resolve technical and quality-related issues and prevent recurrence.
13.Monitor and maintain the project's quality documentation and records, including inspection requests, test reports, NCRs, punch lists, material approvals, and final quality dossiers.
14.Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related reports, updates, recommendations, and performance evaluations to project management.
15.Prepare and review Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Quality Reports and other QC-related reports as required.
16.Ensure that all quality activities comply with applicable international standards, project specifications, HSE requirements, and company quality procedures.
17.Support the preparation, inspection, and completion of Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Final Handover documentation.
18.Ensure that all outstanding quality issues and punch-list items are properly followed up and closed before project handover.
19.Provide leadership, training, and technical guidance to QC personnel to improve quality awareness and performance.
20.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or senior management.
