Responsibilities
Position: Steel Structure Engineer
Job Responsibilities
1.Supervise and control steel structure construction and installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, engineering standards, and project requirements.
2.Review and verify structural drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and other relevant engineering documents.
3.Inspect and monitor steel structure fabrication, delivery, installation, and erection activities at the project site.
4.Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, suppliers, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth execution of steel structure works.
5.Check dimensions, alignment, levels, connections, welding, bolting, and installation of steel structures to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
6.Monitor the quality of materials and fabrication works, including structural steel, welding, bolts, connections, and protective coating systems.
7.Coordinate and monitor welding inspection, NDT, bolt tightening, dimensional inspection, and other required quality control activities.
8.Review and resolve technical issues related to steel structure fabrication, erection, installation, and construction activities.
9.Monitor the progress of steel structure works and coordinate with the construction team to ensure completion according to the project schedule.
10.Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and other engineering teams to resolve interface and construction issues.
11.Review inspection requests, method statements, material submissions, and other technical documents related to steel structure works.
12.Prepare and review daily, weekly, and progress reports, as well as other engineering and construction documentation.
13.Ensure that all steel structure works comply with project requirements regarding Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
14.Conduct site inspections and provide technical support and recommendations to contractors and construction teams.
15.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications
Male or Female.
•Able to use English as a working language.
•Age 35 years or above.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng.) or Architecture Bachelor of Technical Education in Civil Engineering (B.Tech.Ed.), or other related fields.
•At least 5 years of experience in structural and architectural work, including experience working on construction sites.
•Strong ability to perform quantity take-offs for structural and architectural works.
•Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
•Willing and able to work at project sites
•Work Location: Chachoengsao Province, Thailand.
