Qs Engineer - Sinohydro (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. (SEPCO III)

Position: Quantity Surveyor Engineer (QS Engineer)
Job Responsibilities
1.Perform quantity take-off and measurement of construction works based on approved drawings, specifications, and actual site conditions.
2.Review and verify quantities from drawings, BOQs, contracts, and other relevant project documents.
3.Monitor and control project quantities and costs to ensure compliance with the approved budget and contract requirements.
4.Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity calculations, cost estimates, and quantity reports.
5.Measure and verify completed works for progress payment applications and ensure that quantities are accurately recorded.
6.Review and verify contractors' and subcontractors' progress claims, payment applications, and supporting documents.
7.Conduct site measurements and inspections to verify actual quantities of completed construction works.
8.Prepare and maintain quantity records, measurement sheets, quantity tracking logs, and related documentation.
9.Review and verify variation orders, additional works, omissions, and changes in quantities in accordance with contract requirements.
10.Assist in the preparation and evaluation of final accounts and final settlement quantities for contractors and subcontractors.
11.Issue and coordinate Site Instructions (SIs) and other quantity-related documentation as directed by the project management team.
12.Analyze and report quantity and cost variances between the contract, budget, and actual project progress.
13.Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Planning, Cost Control, Procurement, and Contract Administration teams to ensure accurate quantity and cost management.
14.Communicate and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers regarding quantity, measurement, payment, and contractual matters.
15.Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Quantity/Cost Reports and other QS-related documentation as required.
16.Maintain accurate records of project quantities, costs, variations, claims, and final account information.
17.Ensure that all QS activities comply with project requirements, contract conditions, quality standards, and company procedures.
18.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or immediate supervisor.
