Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting & Planning Ownership
Develop and maintain statistical demand forecast models using historical data, market trends, promotions, seasonal factors, and campaign activities
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to align forecasts with business initiatives
Analyze forecast variance and continuously improve forecast accuracy
Supply & Inventory Planning
Develop replenishment and supply plans considering lead time, MOQ, and target service levels
Establish and recommend appropriate inventory control parameters, including safety stock and reorder points, based on demand variability and lead time analysis
Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory while achieving target service levels
Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory and recommend mitigation actions
Identify supply chain constraints and demand-supply imbalances and propose corrective actions
Data Analysis & Business Support
Develop dashboards and analytical reports on sales trends, inventory performance, demand patterns, and forecast accuracy
Provide analytical support to Sales and Marketing teams for forecast preparation and demand review
Consolidate demand, supply, and inventory performance summaries to support management reporting and strategic review
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity of planning inputs and reports
S&OP Process Management
Prepare S&OP data packs and facilitate cross-functional demand and supply alignment discussions
Coordinate cross-functional meetings and facilitate demand review discussions
Track action plans and escalate demand/supply risks to management
Continuous Improvement & KPI Management
Monitor KPIs including Forecast Accuracy, Service Level, DIO, and Inventory Turnover
Review and enhance forecasting processes, tools, and planning methodologies
Identify improvement opportunities to optimize inventory investment and business performance
Others
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business, or related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand & Supply Planning, preferably in retail or multi-SKU business environments
Strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment planning, and demand forecasting processes
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot, Power Query, modeling)
Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience with ERP, forecasting systems, or BI tools is a plus
