What you will do

Responsibilities

Logistics Planning : Develop and implement efficient schedules for transportation routes.
Coordination & Communication : Liaise with drivers, suppliers, internal departments, and clients to communicate shipment needs and coordinate transportation activities.
Monitoring & Compliance : Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, monitor for delays, and ensure all transportation activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Problem-Solving : Address and resolve operational issues, emergencies, and logistical challenges that arise during the transportation process.
Record Keeping : Maintain accurate transportation records, including invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant documentation.

Qualifications

Organizational & Planning : Excellent ability to organize and plan complex transportation schedules and logistics
Communication : Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with between driver and customer.
Problem-Solving : Ability to think analytically and solve problems quickly, often under pressure.
Knowledge of Regulations : Understanding of transportation legislation and compliance requirements, including driver hours and tachographs.
Advanced Excel & Data Analysis ( IS A MUST )
Proficient in Microsoft Excel using advanced formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, IFERROR) and PivotTables to analyze operational data, build tracking models, and improve workflow efficiency.
