Maintenance Technician - SUNRAIN GROUP INTERNATIONAL COMPANY LIMITED

Sunrain Group is seeking a skilled and highly responsive Maintenance Technician to ensure the continuous, smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. Working within our diverse environment—alongside team members from Myanmar, Taiwan, China, and Thailand—you will be critical in minimizing machine downtime and maintaining the production quality required for the growing Sunrain Pencom brand. You will be hands-on with our core industrial machinery, taking charge of both preventative maintenance and urgent troubleshooting on the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance schedules on industrial machinery, including checking and replacing hydraulic oil for injection molding machines (e.g., 130-tonne models) and inspecting mechanical components like roller followers to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

Troubleshooting & Repair: Rapidly diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults. This includes troubleshooting machine controller alarms (such as Haitian controllers) and safely replacing faulty electrical components like magnetic contactors (e.g., S-T25/S-N25 series) and motor parts.

Production Support: Work closely with production line supervisors and operators to quickly address machinery issues, ensuring production backlogs are minimized and work orders are completed on time.

Cross-Cultural Teamwork: Communicate effectively with machine operators (including our Burmese workforce) to understand machine symptoms, and coordinate with Taiwanese/Chinese management and Thai engineers regarding parts ordering and major repairs.

Digital Documentation & Safety: Maintain accurate, real-time electronic run documentation for every single maintenance job. Log all repairs, parts replacements, and preventative actions digitally to ensure transparent record-keeping, while strictly adhering to factory safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Education: High Vocational Certificate (Diploma) or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Direct experience servicing plastic injection molding machines is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: * Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor maintenance, and control panels.

Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, CAD drawings, and electrical schematics.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, physical stamina, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure machinery breakdowns.

Language: Fluency in Thai is required. Basic technical English is necessary for reading manuals and parts specifications. Any ability to communicate in Burmese or Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage on the factory floor.
