Responsibilities
- Prepare technical, quality control, engineering design, and associated project documents.
- Approve sales and project work, ensuring accountability for results.
- Engage with third-party suppliers and evaluate their proposals and equipment selections, including pumps and instruments.
- Support proposal development through review and commentary, occasionally serving as an author.
- Create and maintain Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide subject matter expertise on all process-related matters, including supporting project engineers in procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, CAD, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
