Responsibilities
- Develop process engineering deliverables, including technical specifications, calculations, engineering documents, and quality-related documentation.
- Create, review, and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform process calculations, equipment sizing, and engineering evaluations.
- Participate in proposal development and provide technical support to the sales team during project bidding activities.
- Review and approve engineering designs and project documentation to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and assist in the selection of pumps, instruments, valves, tanks, and other process equipment.
- Act as the process engineering subject matter expert and support procurement, commissioning, and project execution activities.
- Collaborate closely other teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Support troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure
engineering solutions meet safety, quality, regulatory, and operational
requirements
.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering disciplines.
- 0 to 5 years of experience in process engineering, project engineering, or industrial engineering environments.
- Experience
with food processing systems, CIP systems
,or hygienic process design will be considered a strong advantage. - Knowledge of process design, fluid handling systems, pumps, instrumentation, and industrial process equipment.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, PFDs, and P&IDs.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CAD software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
