Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operations across our shopping center business. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety and service quality, enhancing customer experience, and supporting sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee risk management and business continuity related to operational activities.
- Provide strategic guidance to business leaders and cross-functional teams.
Operations Management
- Lead shopping center operations, facilities management, engineering, and building management functions.
- Ensure operational efficiency, service quality, and compliance with safety standards.
- Drive initiatives to enhance customer experience and tenant satisfaction.
- Build strong partnerships with external stakeholders, contractors, and service providers.
People & Budget Management
- Oversee workforce planning and organizational effectiveness across operational functions.
- Manage operational budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
- Coach and develop leadership teams to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, General Management, or related fields.
- At least 10–15 years of experience in operations management within shopping centers, retail properties, hospitality, real estate, or service-related businesses.
- Proven leadership experience managing large operational teams and multiple functions.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management, engineering, building operations, and safety standards.
- Experience in budgeting, operational planning, and performance management.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive operational excellence and customer experience.
