Litigation & Dispute Management

• Lead litigation and dispute strategies for significant and complex legal cases.

• Oversee court proceedings, arbitration, dispute resolution, and settlement negotiations.

• Assess litigation risks and develop appropriate strategies to protect the organization’s legal and commercial interests.

• Manage and evaluate external legal counsel to ensure effective legal representation and cost efficiency.

• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on significant litigation, disputes, and legal risks.

Contracts & Legal Transactions

• Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of significant commercial contracts and legal agreements.

• Provide legal advice and support on business transactions and contractual matters across business units.

• Establish and maintain appropriate standards for contracts, legal documentation, and legal practices.

• Identify contractual and transaction-related legal risks and recommend practical solutions that balance legal protection with business objectives.

Legal Leadership

• Lead, develop, and provide direction to four legal teams, ensuring effective collaboration and consistent legal standards.

• Provide guidance and support on complex legal matters across multiple businesses.

• Partner with senior management and key stakeholders to support business decision-making and manage significant legal risks.

• Develop the capabilities of the legal teams and strengthen the effectiveness of the overall legal function.

• Take on broader legal leadership responsibilities over time, including legal strategy, corporate governance, legal risk management, and strategic business transactions.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law.

• Attorney-at-Law License is preferred.

• Minimum 15 years of legal experience, with substantial experience in litigation and dispute resolution.

• Proven experience handling complex or high-value litigation, dispute strategy, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.

• Strong experience managing external legal counsel and litigation strategy.

• Solid experience in commercial contracts, contract negotiation, and legal transactions.

• Proven leadership experience managing multiple legal teams or legal functions.

• Experience working in a large corporation, diversified business group, or holding company is an advantage.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic communication skills.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance legal risks and commercial objectives.

• Demonstrated potential and readiness to take on broader legal leadership responsibilities in the future.
