Responsibilities
Mission/purpose of the job
• Assistant Engineer provides the assigned tasks to production team to ensure that the products quality will meet the requirement with efficiency process, safety and environment concern.
• Provide necessary information in assembly/ work instruction or training to production
• Provide necessary information to update the added & consume material for production.
• Support the production for the basic problem solving on process and product
• Support Engineers to update the line lay out to increase the efficiency or meet the company goal
• Support production function to do the process time study for process efficiency improvement and capacity planning
• Coordinate with production function to utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve process efficiency and the quality& reliability of the product.
• Support the launch of new products and implement the engineering running changes to production line
• Support and involve with the implementation of industrial management system which belong to company policy
• Support engineering try out and other special jobs assignment
• Work safety and minimize affect to environment according to work instructions.
• Performing according to the safety and environment rules and use safety equipment properly
Qualifications
• High Vocational /Bachelor’s degree in Industrial / Mechanical a related field
• Require experience on automotive business or related field 2 years minimum
• Good human relationship with strong analytical, problem solving.
• Fair of spoken and written English
• Computer literacy
1) Specific for Body shop: BiW (Body in white)
• High experiences in a similar role of Body shop manufacturing would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Engineering computer program (Catia, Solid work, Inventor, AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of Spot Welding equipment, Robot Spot & Arc welding.
• Knowledge of Automation control system.
2) Specific for Paint shop
• High experiences in Paint automotive Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Automotive paint tools and Equipment
• Knowledge of surface treatment & Coating process
• Knowledge of Sealant application
• Knowledge of Painting application
• Knowledge of Paint rectification
3) Specific for IDP
• High experiences in AutoCAD 2D/3D automotive Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Automotive tools and Equipment
• Knowledge of Automotive processes BIW, Paint, Trim Chassis and Final assembly
• Knowledge of Plant simulation Tecnomatix
• Knowledge of 3D scan and Point cloud
• Knowledge of Ms office, Power platform
