Responsibilities
Reports to: IPS Thailand Manager
Work location: Bangna K.M.21
Responsibilities:
Lead sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing activities to deliver business value.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, align, and streamline business requirements
Develop sourcing strategies and optimize the supplier base.
Develop segment strategy in the selective segments together with the respective stakeholders to support UD Trucks strategic objectives
Manage and develop the supplier base, including supplier relationships, requirements management, contract management, and performance monitoring.
Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Business Review Meetings (BRM), and Operational Performance Reviews (OPR).
Perform daily operational purchasing activities including purchase Order management.
Contribute to the Segment administration and Supplier Base Management regularly.
Drive purchasing activities in full compliance with corporate policies, governance standards, and ethical sourcing principles.
Contribute to the achievement of IPS KPIs through continuous improvement and value creation.
Qualifications
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s degree or above (or similar/relevant work experience). Engineering or/and business degree is of advantage
Minimal 3- 5 years of experience in purchasing and prefer in indirect purchasing
Experience in strategic sourcing, including supplier evaluation, selection, and negotiation
Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize manage multiple tasks, and drive results
Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills; business-level English proficiency is preferred.
- Japanese language skills are an advantage.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, proactive and positive attitude with the owner’s mentality.
Agile and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing business environment.
