Procurement Engineer - Fujikura Conec (THAILAND) LTD.

In this Procurement Engineer role, you will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating new suppliers for raw materials, spare parts, equipment, and manufacturing components to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and delivery performance. You will manage supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, price negotiation, and contract discussions to achieve the best total cost, while also issuing Purchase Orders and maintaining accurate purchasing data in the ERP/SAP system. You will analyze customer demand forecasts and collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability. Furthermore, you will monitor supplier performance, drive continuous improvement, and identify cost reduction opportunities through sourcing strategies and supplier development. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to support new product introductions and engineering changes, as well as resolve purchasing and supplier-related issues to prevent production interruptions.
