Are you passionate about manufacturing processes, chemical engineering, and continuous improvement? Join our Plating Production team and contribute to producing high-quality electronic connectors for world-leading technology products.
Key Responsibilities for Plating Process
1. Monitor and control plating production processes, including Gold Plating, Copper Plating, and Silver Plating, to ensure compliance with production and quality standards.
2. Control critical process parameters such as plating thickness, surface quality, and electrical performance according to customer specifications.
3. Prepare workpieces before plating through cleaning, degreasing, and surface preparation to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
4. Monitor product quality throughout the plating process and coordinate corrective actions when abnormalities occur.
5. Monitor and maintain plating chemicals, analyze chemical parameters, and ensure plating bath stability.
6. Support machine, equipment, and utility maintenance to ensure continuous and reliable production.
7. Analyze production problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve productivity and reduce defects.
8. Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives, including productivity improvement, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and waste reduction.
9. Prepare production reports, process control records, and quality documentation.
10. Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS teams to achieve production goals.
11. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management system requirements.
Qualifications
1) Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2) Experience in plating processes, surface treatment, electroplating, or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
3) Knowledge of production process control, quality improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
4) Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Continuous Improvement concepts is an advantage.
5) Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6) Able to communicate in English at a functional level.
7) Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of statistical analysis or engineering software is a plus.
7) Strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.
