Responsibilities

  • Develop Building Information Modeling (BIM) models and associated structural drawings.
  • Perform quantity take-offs directly from BIM models.
  • Input relevant information for Facility Management (FM) utilization.
  • Monitor modeling progress, update drawings, and inform the Project Manager of any changes.
  • Coordinate effectively with other discipline teams.
  • Monitor and check for clashes within BIM models.
  • Update models to accurately reflect as-built conditions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, including working upcountry as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of accurate drafting methods, including layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports, and scaling.
  • Ability to utilize Revit Structure tools such as Project Browser, Properties, and Type Selector, and to insert various family types.
  • Knowledge of creating family parts/libraries and manipulating parameters and schedules.
  • Proficiency in Navisworks for model coordination.
  • Ability to interpret structural drawings and details.
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, produce quality results, and meet deadlines.

Job Summary

In this BIM Modeler (Structural) role, you will be responsible for developing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models and associated structural drawings, as well as performing quantity take-offs directly from these models. You will contribute to inputting relevant information for Facility Management (FM) utilization, and actively monitor modeling progress, updating drawings and informing the Project Manager of any changes. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating effectively with other discipline teams, monitoring and checking for clashes within BIM models, and updating models to accurately reflect as-built conditions. This position requires proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, alongside a strong understanding of accurate drafting methods and the ability to interpret structural drawings and details.
