Responsibilities

  1. Prepare AR account summaries and monthly sales reports, and record GRV and Accounts Payable transactions for material purchases.
  2. Follow up intercompany purchasing from global sourcing department and confirm intercompany purchasing before month-end closing
  3. Follow up LA pending for month-end costing run and calculation in ERP system
  4. Prepare inventory balance, scrap and issue supplies report by weekly and monthly
  5. Prepare cost reconciles for PND 50 by project as BOI
  6. Collaborate with Sr. accountant to maintain the annual standard cost system for all products, including managing the annual budgeted standard cost cycle
  7. Assist Finance manager to prepare product costing analysis details and collaborate with Sr. accountant to complete
  8. Ensure the compliance with company policy and accounting/tax regulations

Others

  1. Collaborating closely with the ERP team to minimize costing issues, streamline processes, and improve overall operational efficiency.
  2. Other requirement from Finance Manager and other departments and assists with ad hoc accounting and financial projects as requested.

Qualifications

(Educational background):

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields

(Work experience):

  • With 5-7 year in cost accounting and analysis experience with multinational company.
  • BOI costing experience would be advantage
  • Able to communication in English.

Able to use ERP software and MS Excel.

What you will do
Job Summary

In this Costing Accountant role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of cost accounting tasks. You will prepare accounts receivable summaries and monthly sales reports, as well as record goods received vouchers and accounts payable transactions for material purchases. A key part of your role involves following up on intercompany purchasing from the global sourcing department and confirming these transactions before month-end closing, along with tracking LA pending for month-end costing runs and calculations within the ERP system. You will also prepare weekly and monthly inventory balance, scrap, and supplies issue reports. Collaborating closely with the Senior Accountant, you will maintain the annual standard cost system for all products, including managing the annual budgeted standard cost cycle, and assist the Finance Manager with detailed product costing analysis. You will ensure compliance with company policies and accounting/tax regulations, prepare cost reconciliations for PND 50 by BOI project, and work with the ERP team to minimize costing issues and streamline processes.
