Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations within the target MTTR of 4 hours.
  • Provide troubleshooting support during night shifts when required.
Equipment Commissioning & Debugging
  • Install, commission, and validate new automation equipment.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
  • Optimize production equipment through PLC, machine vision, and robot program tuning.
Equipment Lifecycle Management
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of automation equipment, including:
  • Equipment evaluation and procurement
  • Installation and acceptance
  • Commissioning and production launch
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Equipment modification and upgrades
  • Decommissioning
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure parts availability.
Equipment Performance Improvement
  • Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Reduce equipment downtime and failure rates.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership & Training
  • Lead and supervise a team of 10+ technicians.
  • Provide technical training and coaching.
  • Independently perform equipment troubleshooting and commissioning.
  • Documentation & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Prepare and maintain SOPs and equipment documentation in Thai and English (Chinese is an advantage).
  • Support 5S implementation.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the full lifecycle management of non-standard automation equipment.
Native Thai speaker with basic English communication skills.
Chinese language skills are highly preferred.
Hands-on experience in PLC plus at least one of the following:
Pneumatic systems
Electrical systems
Machine Vision
Industrial Robots
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Machine Vision systems.
Experience with Industrial Robots.
Electrical License/Certification.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment in Thailand.
