Assistant Project Manager - PCL Hospitality Co., Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assist the Project Manager in managing hotel development projects from design through project execution.

·         Coordinate with various designers, consultants, hotel operators, suppliers, and contractors.

·         Monitor project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and project documentation.

·         Review architectural, interior, MEP, and other designers' drawings to ensure design integration and coordination.

·         Support material selection, supplier sourcing, procurement activities, and value engineering exercises.

·         Coordinate material submissions, samples, mock-ups, and technical approvals.

·         Prepare meeting minutes, project reports, presentations, and management updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Interior Design, Interior Fit-Out, Hospitality Design, Hotel Development, Project Coordination, or Construction Cost Estimation.

Required Knowledge & Skills

·         Strong understanding of construction materials, finishes, specifications, installation methods, and material costing.

·         Knowledge of supplier sourcing, procurement processes, and contractor coordination.

·         Good understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection systems.

·         Ability to review and coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and interior design packages.

·         Understanding of ceiling coordination, lighting layouts, power requirements, plumbing provisions, and hotel operational requirements.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other architectural software.

·         Proficient in written and spoken English.

Preferred Candidate Profile

·         At least 3 years of experience in interior design, interior construction, or hospitality projects.

·         Solid knowledge of material costs, installation methods, suppliers, and procurement.

·         Experience coordinating Architectural, Interior Design, and MEP disciplines.

·         Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and cost-control skills.
